Hey #Sockers what's hanging? Are you starting to make new changes to your wardrobe with this season's temparature change or are you looking at completely hauling your style?, whatever the option is we've got you covered with tips and bad ass socks to complement so get ready.

Although most people know Ozzy Osbourne for his legendary music career (and his many controversies), there’s another aspect that always comes up: the iconic image he built over the years. And even though many instantly associate him with black outfits, long coats, and his unmistakable round glasses, the truth is his style wasn’t always like that.

You could say Ozzy was constantly evolving, adapting both to the times and to the scene he was part of. The Ozzy of the late ’60s is not the same as the one from the ’90s, and that shift reflects not only the cultural and aesthetic changes of each decade, but also a personal evolution. Because even if he never labeled himself a fashion icon in the traditional sense, it doesn’t take much to notice the intention and attention to detail in the way he presented himself to the world.

That’s probably why he remains a reference today. So much so that even the smallest details can capture part of his essence. As a tribute, we’ve released a limited edition of socks inspired by him: a perfect gift for Ozzy Osbourne fans, or simply a little indulgence to keep great taste close at hand.

But the question is: how do you wear them without them feeling like just another accessory?

The key isn’t just in how you style them, but in understanding where they come from. It’s about reinterpreting the different stages of Ozzy’s journey and bringing them into a modern look—where even something as small as a pair of socks can become the finishing touch. After all, in this case, the finishing touch is right at your feet.

So let’s take a look at the different eras of Ozzy Osbourne and how you can reinterpret them in contemporary outfits. And if the reference goes unnoticed at any point, there’s no need to overexplain it—you’re just one pant-leg lift away from making it clear

Those 70's vibes, Dark hippie core.

Leather jackets and big belt buckles, long hair and psychedelic / Disco influences, flair patchwork and all kinds of hippie stuff, all for a tone that set more of a chill but darkened vibe, Jeans migth come good and we would recommend you put your best boots and our High leaf socks and our Fallen Angel jean jacket so you may modify it.

Roaring in the 80's Glam Rock to the MAX

Ozzy Osbourne - 1980s by Brian RasicThis ozzy era is a mix of Glam, goth and oriental, really standing out with the usual shirtless presentation but the ocasional silk robe some chains and of course, a master in eyeliner, this is the fundamental of his more devil attitude for this era consider jean shorts, and simpler sport shoes and shiny bracelets, and yeah look out cause' he looked like a tiger. Based on that we recommend you start with a mixe pair of socks, one of our signature's, Eternal.

And Finally 90's Ozzy, Dark king of madness and hallowed vampire

30 Years Ago: Ozzy Osbourne Begins Short-Lived 'Retirement'

In the ’90s, Ozzy Osbourne cemented his most iconic and lasting image: dark, dramatic, and instantly recognizable. Think long leather trench coats, heavy boots, and signature pieces like his skull-topped cane—details that turned his style into something almost mythical rather than just fashion.

To channel this look today, keep the base strong and minimal with black layers and bold outerwear. Then add a twist with our Dark Fantasy mid-high socks: a subtle nod to that gothic edge, perfect for peeking out above your boots and giving the outfit that final, Ozzy-worthy touch.

Cute Socks That Will Make Your Day Better

You already know that here you can find the heaviest socks out there, inspired by the purest alternative scene: skulls, tombstones, monsters
nothing new for the most loyal American Socks fans. But that doesn’t mean you should overlook the cutest designs we’ve got.

Because we’re like that, versatile. Just like we love keeping the boldest crowd happy, we also have a little spot for those who enjoy sunny days, chill music, and a slightly silly design that makes you smile every time you remember you’re wearing them.

And let’s be honest, we know the truth: the toughest ones are usually the ones with the softest hearts.

DON’T WORRY, BE CAPY

It’s no surprise that animals are always the most viral content on the internet. And this past years, with the capybara boom, even more so. Who are we kidding? These harmless little creatures win everyone over.

So if one day you’re feeling stressed and need a little reminder to slow things down, these socks are here for that. To remind you that you don’t have to overthink everything.

Just
 don’t worry, be capy.

JUST VIBES

Sticking with the animal theme, axolotls are another little creature that’s been getting a lot of attention lately. These quirky aquatic critters have a kind of instant cuteness that’s hard to ignore.

On these crew socks, you find an axolotl sipping some boba tea, completely relaxed. Perfect for a day where no complaints or arguments are allowed, just peace... Just vibes.

KILLJOY

Who said creepy can’t be cute? Sometimes the best ideas come from mixing things that shouldn’t really go together. You don’t always have to wear black and look grumpy to be a little troublemaker, being mischievous can also come wrapped in pastel colors and adorable characters. These socks prove it perfectly.

Are they ridiculously cute? Absolutely.
Is the scene on them
 slightly concerning? Also yes 😁

NO BAD DAYS

Not every day is great. And not every day will go the way you want. But you can control how you react, how you move, and how you face it. This little cloud shows you that even when the weather isn’t on your side, a simple gesture can create your own rainbow. 🌈

So next time the raindrops start falling, don’t sulk, step outside and dance in the rain!

Cute illustration with a positive message, perfect for anyone who needs a little extra encouragement. You got this!

So yeah, maybe we’re good at making the boldest, most daring designs. But we’re pretty good at the delicate ones too. Whether you’re feeling spooky or adorable, there’s always a pair of socks that can match your mood.

And if we still haven’t convinced you, take a look at the Mid High socks section, where you’ll find even more of these irresistibly cute designs.

Because being alternative doesn’t mean you can’t have a cute side.

Hell yeah, what’s up #sockers! Pull ‘em up and strap in, because we’re back at it again with some classic socks shenanigans.

We’re diving deep into the pit today to talk about the unsung hero of the underground: socks in punk and hardcore culture. Whether you’re a straight-edge kid keeping it clean in the front row, a post-punk dreamer brooding in the back, or a crust-punk just trying to keep your boots from falling apart—we see you.

At American Socks, we don’t just make gear; we live the subculture. We know that being the "original" isn't about a date on a calendar—it’s about that DIY, middle-finger-to-the-norm spirit that you proudly carry on every single day. Our socks are built for the stage, the skatepark, and the street, designed for YOU (yeah, you!) because we know your style is as loud as your favorite record

let's start out with the list of nice inspirations in the models of socks we offer.

BLACK PLAGUE - THE LAST DANCE WITH DEATH

Death be delivered unto us, and may the plague doctor save us all. You don't have to be extremely hardcore to understand this vibe, the blue hue, the pestilence, the piled skulls, hell it's a mirage into a modern plague, and the classic plague doctor is the same.

EYEBLAST - EYES ARE FLYING OUT

You're in the middle of the moshpit and eyes start flying out, yup it's that time of the nigth, the fight is getting rough, and you're all for it, you're rocking these socks, you were practically born for this, you're here to kick ass and chew bubblegum and you're all out of bubblegum. Don't mind the bloody mess, mind the gap.

SON OF A BEACH - PUNK SUMMER ON THE HORIZON

Not all punk lives in dark basements. Some of it’s out in the sun, skating, messing around, blasting music by the water. Son of a Beach keeps it light but still carries that “don’t care” attitude. Easy, loud, and a bit sarcastic

DEATH'S DOOR - STRAIGTH TO THE GRAVE

You're walking down below to those crammed catacombs, each skull a reminder, each torch a small ligth, but these socks don't shine at nigth, they have the vibe of someone who is very much not afraid of death

OPEN YOUR MIND - MINDBLOWING YOUR STYLE

A bit more color, a bit more chaos. Like a festival day where everything blends together, music, people, art, no clear line between any of it. These are for when you stop overthinking and just go with it.

At the end of the day, punk socks aren’t about matching your outfit perfectly. They’re about adding something personal, something that feels like you.

So yeah, keep them clean or trash them in the pit, that’s up to you. Just make sure they’ve got a story by the time you’re done with them

Ozzy Osbourne Socks And Stories That Will Never Die

If there’s one thing the legendary Ozzy Osbourne left us after his passing (besides a grief that’s hard to swallow), it’s, first, a mountain of music that shattered rules and still rocks decades later; and second, a collection of stories so absurd, wild, and over-the-top that only the Prince of Darkness could own them.

At American Socks, we’re not here to cry. We’re here to remember. Because five years before he passed, Ozzy told The Guardian that being remembered by people was enough for him. That's why, in memory of one of the greatest, we're launching a Limited Edition Socks for those who want to keep a piece of his legacy, carrying a small reminder of his spirit with every step.

But you can’t talk about Ozzy without looking at the full picture, and that’s exactly why today we're also revisiting the most iconic, chaotic, and unapologetically legendary moments of the Godfather of Heavy Metal.

The Bat That Changed Rock History

It would be a crime not to start by talking about the most infamous bite in music history. In 1982, during a concert, someone threw a live bat onto the stage. Thinking it was part of the show, Ozzy did what he did best: he bit it without a second thought.
The rest is history: controversy, headlines, rabies shots, and an image forever etched into the DNA of extreme rock. It wasn’t planned. It wasn’t smart
 but it was 100% Ozzy.

What a Tasty-Looking Line of Ants

In the early ’80s, tours were an unofficial contest to see who could be the grossest, the one that made you look away before disgust took over. And of course, no one topped the Godfather of Heavy Metal.
According to Mötley CrĂŒe drummer Tommy Lee, one day while on tour, Ozzy spotted a line of ants marching toward a kid’s lollipop
and decided to sniff them like they were just another line of coke. Just like that. Like having a morning coffee... Early ’80s. What else would you expect?

The Alamo Incident

In 1982, San Antonio witnessed one of the most surreal moments of Ozzy’s career. Drunk, dressed in his wife’s clothes, and with zero sense of historical context, he ended up peeing on the Alamo cenotaph. It came as no surprise that this ended in arrest, public outrage, and a ten-year ban from performing in the city. A legendary mess, the kind only the master could pull off.
When the ban expired ten years later, Ozzy publicly apologized and donated $10,000 to make amends. Texas fans probably celebrated his return like they’d hit the jackpot (we definitely would have).

Back to the Beginning: Closing the Circle

The last time we saw Ozzy on stage was almost poetic. As if he knew it was time to say goodbye, he returned to the beginning. To Birmingham. To home.
With Black Sabbath reunited for the first time in 20 years, including Bill Ward (absent on the 2017 farewell tour), Ozzy delivered a goodbye that left no loose ends. Surrounded by iconic bands like Metallica, Guns N’ Roses, Slayer, Pantera, Tool, and Alice in Chains, he closed the circle the only way it could be closed.
Thanks to that final farewell, we don’t feel like anything was left unfinished. Without that last show, Ozzy’s departure would have felt different. Bittersweeter. Less complete.

Thank you, Ozzy, for every scream, every riff, every Ozzfest, every story impossible to believe yet impossible to forget, for teaching us that darkness can have charm too.
Even though you’ve gone, we still feel you here.
Rest well, Prince of Darkness,
And screw you—with love—for leaving us without a clear heir.

Love is life and hate is living death - Black Sabbath.

How To Choose Skate Socks That Actually Survive Your Tricks (And Keep Your Feet In One Piece)

Skateboarding isn’t just a casual walk in skater shoes. It’s high-impact moves, repeated landings, sudden stops, and friction from grip tape, and that means your feet go through a lot more abuse than they would just walking around. Regular socks simply don’t cut it. The best socks for skateboarding are built for all this — combining comfort, durability, and smart skate sock features that help you skate harder and longer without paying for it in blisters or fatigue.

American Socks Mid High Standard American Pride - Mid High

Stay Dry, Skate Hard = Better Grip, No Slippage

When you’re skating hot runs or grinding the park all day, sweat is inevitable. Moisture-wicking skate socks pull sweat away from your skin so feet stay dry and comfy, reducing slipping inside shoes and helping you focus on your tricks instead of damp feet. No one wants to bail because your socks couldn’t handle a 20-minute session.

Durability That Keeps Up with the Street

Grip tape, rough pavement, repeated motion: skateboarding punishes socks fast. That’s why durable skate socks have reinforced heels and toes, rugged stitching, and tough fabrics designed to last way longer than your average pair. If you fall on your board, a solid sock can even stop grip tape scrapes from turning into proper injuries. Extra padding in high zones? Total game changer — especially when you’re rocking shorts and your shins are exposed. Scratches happen, bleeding out doesn’t.

American Socks Mid High American Pride II - Mid High

Cushioning & Support = Less Pain, More Pop

Hard landings are part of the life, and comfortable skate socks often include extra padding in impact zones — heel, arch, and forefoot — to keep your feet cushioned when you stick that ollie or drop in on a transition. Think of it like insurance for your kicks: you can push your limits knowing your feet have your back.

Crucial Point: Pick a Pair You Actually Like

Skateboarding isn’t just about function, it’s about confidence. The socks you choose can make a subtle but real difference in how you feel hitting the park or the streets. If you put on a pair you love, that little boost of control and self-assurance can make your session smoother, your tricks cleaner, and yes
your mood better too. Feeling good = skating good.

Luckily, we’ve got a huge selection in our Signature Collection, perfect for the bold and adventurous, and also in our Mid High Classics for the timeless, more classic skaters. Our skateboarding apparel is built to keep you landing tricks without worrying about your feet. Just click on the name to go straight to the style you prefer!

Back in Black I - Mid High - AmericanSocks

We love seeing you land tricks, grind rails, and push limits, but we love seeing you in one piece even more. So do yourself (and us) a favor: put on socks that won’t wreck your feet while you do what you love most. Your shins, toes, and mood will thank you, and honestly, we’ll sleep a little easier knowing you didn’t turn a session into a first-aid situation.

Some time ago we had the chance to welcome Tosh Peterson, member of DAMNAGE and drummer who has worked with artists like Lady Gaga, Machine Gun Kelly and Jaden, at our physical store in Barcelona. We showed him some of our designs up close and gave him full freedom to pick the ones he liked the most.

It ended up being a great experience for the whole team. Tosh turned out to be exactly the kind of person he comes across as: down-to-earth, genuine and easy to talk to. One of those visits that just feels natural from the start.

Fast forward to November. At the Warped Tour in Orlando we met Loyal to the Craft, an initiative focused on opening doors within the creative world by supporting the next generation of artists through workshops, events and hands-on experiences inside the music industry. That’s where we realized we had a lot in common. The way we see music, creativity, and the communities that grow around them felt very aligned. And when that happens, you kind of know something good might come out of it.

Turns out we were right. Not long ago Mike, the founder of Loyal to the Craft, reached out to us. They had been following DAMNAGE’s tour and wanted to put together a special gift for the band: a pair of custom socks. And we mean truly custom. Designed exclusively for them and made specifically for this tour which means they won’t be available for sale.

These socks come from a genuine love for the craft, inspired both by the energy and talent of DAMNAGE and by the community that Loyal to the Craft continues to build every day. Because even within the industry, there’s room for small gestures of appreciation that don’t expect anything in return. Sometimes it’s simply about supporting the people who keep pushing music forward with honesty and energy.

And when someone is fighting for the same thing, there’s really only one thing to ask:
keep moving people.

For us, this collaboration is another reminder that music — and everything around it — still brings together people and projects that are looking in the same direction: community, creativity and the simple joy of making things happen.

We’re really glad we could contribute our small part with this gift for the band and support initiatives like Loyal to the Craft, which continue to push the next generation of musicians forward, and we wish them all the best for the rest of the tour. đŸ€˜

Tattoo Socks Made for Every Ink Style

Tattoos haven’t always been celebrated the way they are today. Long before going mainstream, tattooing was deeply tied to culture and identity, with each tribe using symbols to tell their own stories. In the Western world, though, it was a different story. For years, tattoos were taboo—linked to crime, underground scenes, mafias, and in East Asia, even the Yakuza. Ink was seen as rebellious or inappropriate.

Fast forward to now, and everything’s changed. Especially from the late 20th century on in Europe and the US, tattoos started appearing on people who weren’t trying to shock anyone. Ink became a form of self-expression, a way to carry something meaningful on your skin without saying a word. Personal, intentional, and deeply individual.

Today, that mindset goes beyond skin. Tattoo art has made its way into fashion socks, turning ink into everyday wear—socks that speak just as loudly, no needles involved. At American Socks, tattoo culture lives on through ink-inspired socks that blend comfort, attitude, and art. And if endless scrolling isn’t your thing, here’s a breakdown of the tattoo styles you’ll find in our collection.

Traditional / Old School - Till Death Do Us Part / Sorcerer

Traditional (or old school) tattoo style is instantly recognizable. Thick outlines, classic motifs, and timeless symbols that never go out of style. Think daggers through hearts, skulls paired with roses, serpents, and all those legendary elements that built tattoo culture as we know it.

Our “Till Death Do Us Part” socks go straight for the heart with dramatic imagery that feels ripped from a vintage tattoo flash sheet. Meanwhile, “Sorcerer” mixes things up with a mystical figure, an eagle, a spiked sacred heart wrapped in a chain, poker cards, stars, and floral details. These are statement socks in the purest sense—loud, unapologetic, and packed with symbolism.

Sailor Jerry - Renegades

Within traditional American tattooing, Sailor Jerry stands in a league of his own. A true pioneer, his unmistakable style shaped tattoo culture as we know it today. And even though it technically falls under old school, his influence is so strong that it deserves its own section.

The “Renegades” socks follow the style of the father of American traditional tattooing so closely that we couldn’t lump them in with the rest. Bold compositions, and a rebellious spirit that still feels fresh decades later. History on your feet, basically.

Get your Renegades by clicking on the name!

Blackwork - Python

Blackwork is all about contrast. No color, no distractions—just black ink, negative space, and striking compositions. The “Python” socks embody this perfectly, featuring intertwined snakes in black and white that feel straight out of a tattoo sleeve.

Honestly, these could pass for a full arm piece. They’re sleek and insanely wearable. If you love artistic socks that feel strong but minimal, this one’s a no-brainer.

Get your Python by clicking on the name!

Illustrative - Sacred

Illustrative tattoo style is one of the hardest to define, mainly because it’s so broad. Rather than following strict technical rules, it’s driven by an artistic approach. Illustrative tattoos often draw inspiration from books, drawings, mythology, or fine art, and they can range from minimal to highly detailed, even realistic. Shading can be done with soft gradients, line work, or a mix of both — the key is the intention behind the artwork.

Our “Sacred” socks fit into a more fine-line illustrative direction, with references to sacred and mythological imagery. Clouds with eyes and lightning bolts, hands wrapped in thorns, hourglasses, medieval flails — each element feels symbolic and carefully placed.

Get your Sacred by clicking on the name!

Beige mystical patterned aesthetic socks with clouds, stars and chalice with serpent

Chicano Style - Guadalupe

Chicano tattoo style is deeply rooted in Mexican-American culture, often dominated by black and grey realism, religious imagery, and emotional symbolism. And yes—we’re stretching the definition just a bit here (bear with us).

The “Guadalupe” socks feature the Virgin of Guadalupe, the patron saint of Mexico, surrounded by halos, doves, and roses. While the colors are more vibrant than classic Chicano black and grey, the iconography speaks for itself. Faith, heritage, and devotion wrapped into one powerful design. Let’s just
politely ignore the punk elements for now 😜

Get your Guadalupe by clicking on the name!

Ink Is Everywhere, and That’s a Good Thing

So yeah, being covered in ink isn’t frowned upon anymore. And honestly? Anyone who still thinks it is might just be missing a bit of culture.

No one gets to tell you how tattooed is “too tattooed.” And if needles aren’t your thing, there’s always another way to show love for ink. Slip on a pair of our unique socks, and let them do the talking for you.

If none of these styles convinced you, take a look at our Tattoo Socks section, you might find a different design that feels more you.

Long live ink đŸ–€

Concerts are more than just music; they're an experience that brings people together to celebrate their favorite artists and songs. Whether you're a dedicated fan or simply looking to have a great time, there's something undeniably exhilarating about being surrounded by the energy of live music. And when it comes to making a statement at a concert, your choice of clothing and accessories can play a pivotal role. One often overlooked but crucial element of your concert attire is your socks. In this blog post, we'll delve into why selecting the right socks can enhance your concert experience and how "American Socks" can help you rock the show in style with their diverse range of options.

The Impact of Socks on Your Concert Experience:

When planning your concert outfit, it's essential to consider every detail. While most people focus on their clothing, shoes, and accessories, socks tend to be an afterthought. However, the right pair of socks can have a surprising impact on your overall experience. Here's why:

  1. Comfort: Concerts can involve hours of standing, dancing, and jumping. Uncomfortable socks can quickly lead to sore feet and distract from the enjoyment of the event. Properly cushioned and well-fitting socks can help prevent discomfort and keep you on your feet all night long.

  1. Style: Socks are an opportunity to showcase your personal style and add a unique flair to your outfit. A carefully chosen pair of socks can be a conversation starter, helping you connect with fellow concert-goers who share your taste.

  1. Expression: Concerts are all about self-expression and connecting with the music. Your socks can be an extension of this self-expression, allowing you to visually communicate your enthusiasm for the artist or the genre.

Introducing American Socks: A Diverse Range of Options:

When it comes to selecting the perfect socks for a concert, "American Socks" stands out as a brand that combines comfort, style, and quality. With a wide range of options to choose from, they offer socks that cater to different preferences and styles. Here are some of the exciting sock styles that American Socks offers:

  1. Mid High: These calf-high socks strike the perfect balance between comfort and coverage. They provide ample support for your legs while showcasing the brand's unique designs.

  1. Knee High: For those looking to make a bold statement, knee-high socks offer a touch of drama and flair. With designs that reach up to the knee, you're sure to stand out in the crowd.

  1. Signature: American Socks' signature line features printed illustrations that are nothing short of epic. These socks allow you to wear art on your feet, making a powerful visual impact that complements the concert atmosphere.

  1. Ankle High: If you prefer a more subtle approach, ankle-high socks provide comfort and style without stealing the spotlight. They're the perfect choice for those who want a touch of personality without going overboard.

When preparing for a concert, every detail matters, including your choice of socks. Beyond mere comfort, your socks can be a canvas for expressing your personality and passion for music. American Socks, with their captivating designs and diverse range of styles including mid high, knee high, signature, and ankle high socks, offer the perfect options to elevate your concert experience. Don't settle for ordinary socks when you can rock the show in style with American Socks' wide variety of options!

20 YEARS OF BANGERSđŸ€˜đŸ»

The year is 2004, some will nickname the year as Punk Rock/Pop Punk’s best year, many of the TOP bands released their most known albums and some others the ones that put their name out there.

If you do the maths correctly, this year marks the 20th anniversary for these iconic melodic CD’s, to celebrate that we compiled a list of our favourite albums, check it out!

September 21 2004, the California trio put out the album that would catapult them further to the mainstream scene, after their huge success with “Dookie" in 1994, this time the band leaned more into the controversial and political side of self expression. Winner of the 2004 grammy Best Rock Album of The Year.

This album brought us so many memorable songs such as: The self titled American Idiot, Holiday, Jesus of Suburbia, Whatsername and the grammy winner song Boulevard of Broken Dreams.

If we go back a few months prior, summer 2004, the rising icons of MCR released what would be the album that they’ll be known the most for the rest of our time. With this album, the band produced a more polished sound than that of their 2002 debut album “I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love”. This era also shaped the aesthetic that MCR would be recognised for such as lead singer Gerard Way's iconic makeup and red tie.

This album gave us so many iconic tunes such as: Helena, I’m Not Okay (I Promise), Cemetery Drive and Thank You for the Venom.

Being the fifth studio album of the band, released on September 21st, it became a staple in the band’s discography. From the first song to the last, "A Hangover You Don't Deserve" is one hell of a good album. Experimental, even. Bowling for Soup experiments with a piano and acoustic guitar on several tracks ("Ridiculous", "Friends of Mine", etc). Their first single “1985”, quickly became a hit peaking at NÂș5 on Billboard’s Adult Top 40 chart. This album as well prompts them with a Golden disc certified by RIAA.

Other memorable songs from this album are: Almost, Ohio (Come Back to Texas) and Trucker Hat.

After the successful release of their 2002 debut album “No Pads, No Helmets
Just Balls”, the canadian band came back in 2004 with their second studio album “Still Not Getting Any” releasing on October 26. Even though critics came for their necks calling the album a “whiny and putrid teenage angst record”, the public had a completely different opinion, making this one of their most iconic releases in the band’s discography. Going Platinum 4 times in Canada, twice in Australia, and in the USA and New Zealand. Peaking at NÂș3 in the US Billboard 200, proving critics wrong.

This album brought us so many iconic songs like: Shut Up!, Welcome To My Life and Jump.

Following the Canadian pipeline, another amazing artist followed their 2002 successful debut, being none other than the iconic singer-songwriter Avril Lavigne. Dropping on May 21st, the Canadian singer came strong with a more heartfelt and personal release. Debuting at NÂș1 on the Billboard 200 and winning three Juno Awards (Artist of the Year, Juno Fan Choice Award and Pop Album of the Year).

This album came filled with bangers, the most memorable ones being Nobody’s Home, Forgotten, Don’t Tell Me and the two times Platinum My Happy Ending.

Hot Fuss is the debut studio album by American rock band the Killers, released on June 7, 2004. Featuring one of the most iconic songs ever ‘Mr. Brightside’, the album brings back 80s rock but with a completely rejuvenated sound. It was the 26th best selling album of the 2000s decade in the United Kingdom, and is listed among the top 40 longest-charting albums in the history of the UK Albums Chart, with 254 weeks. Also going 6 times Platinum in the US and 8 in the UK.

This debut came in heat also giving us hits like Somebody Told Me, All These Things That I’ve Done, Smile Like You Mean It and Jenny Is A Friend Of Mine.

Moving once again to Canada, SUM 41 released their third studio album Chuck on October 12, 2004. It is the last album to feature guitarist Dave Baksh as he left Sum 41 on May 11, 2006. Baksh later rejoined the band in 2015. The band have cited Metallica and Refused as major influences. Peaking at NÂș2 on the Billboard Canadian Albums and two time Platinum in Canada.

The album came with a wide range of bangers like Pieces, No Reason, We're All To Blame and Some Say.

One more banger of a third release, this time by the American Rock band Good Charlotte. Peaking at NÂș3 on the US Billboard 200 charts and going Platinum on both the US and Australia. The album was released on October 5 through Epic and Daylight Records in two different editions: Life (with "Falling Away" as a bonus track) and Death (with "Meet My Maker" as a bonus track), both with different artwork created by Martin.

This album brought us beloved songs such as I Just Wanna Live, We Believe and Predictable.

Peaking at NÂș2 on the Billboard 200, the band’s fourth studio album was released on May 18, 2004, selling 146,000 copies in its first week, later certified gold by the RIAA in August 2004. Philip Obenschain of Alternative Press said the album was a "nostalgic snapshot of a mid-career transition", which not only displayed what the group were capable of when under pressure, but also that "pop-punk could reach a broader radio and MTV audience without compromising its credibility".

This album came with crazy tunes like A Downhill from Here, Truth of My Youth, The Disaster and At Least I'm Known For Something.

Releasing on August 31st, another great fourth studio album, this time Papa Roach’s turn with Getting Away With Murder. The album was a departure from the band's previous works, showcasing an alternative rock and hard rock sound instead of a nu metal and rap metal sound. Going Platinum in the US and with the song "Not Listening" was featured in the video games NASCAR 2005: Chase for the Cup in 2004, FlatOut 2 in 2006, and Gran Turismo 4, and was also featured in the trailer for the 2004 film Resident Evil: Apocalypse.

We obviously have to mention bangers from the album such as Scars, the self titled Getting Away With Murder and Not Listening.

Some of these amazing bands to celebrate the milestone are going on tour, like Bowling for Soup or New Found Glory, here we give you all the info you need to not miss these amazing opportunities.

  • BOWLING FOR SOUP
  • AVRIL LAVIGNE AND SIMPLE PLAN
  • NEW FOUND GLORY
  • PAPA ROACH
  • SUM 41

We really hope you guys enjoyed this blog and happy 20th birthday to these amazing albums that accompanied us growing up!

We had the time of our lives at Punk Rock Holiday 2024, and we’re excited to share this with you! Set in the beautiful town of Tolmin, Slovenia, this festival is all about punk rock music, crazy vibes and an amazing community.

We were thrilled to have our own stage one more year, making the festival even more special.

American Socks at Punk Rock Holiday

Arriving at the festival, the excitement was real. We set up our booth and stage right by the Soča River. It was like setting up camp in a little slice of punk rock heaven.

Between sets, we explored the festival, catching performances on the main stage and soaking in the raw energy that makes this event so unique with bands like Rise Against, Flogging Molly, Descendents and more.

American Socks at Punk Rock Holiday

American Socks at Punk Rock Holiday

One of the best parts of the festival is the people. We met so many passionate punk rock fans who share our love for music and socks. Our booth was buzzing with energy, and we loved to share a drink with everyone who stopped by. It was awesome to see so many familiar faces and make new friends.

We love having our own stage and providing the opportunity for everyone to share their music at our open mic. We hosted some incredible artists like Not on Tour, Steve Rawles @ Belvedere, Dan @ Alkaline Trio and more who brought their A-game and created unforgettable memories for everyone.

American Socks at Punk Rock Holiday

American Socks at Punk Rock Holiday

After an incredible day, we kept the music going with our own DJ set at the American Socks afterparty. The afterparty was a celebration of the festival's spirit, it was amazing to see everyone letting loose, singing along, and dancing. We even played musical chairs with the club full of people, and the winners took home their favorite socks. The energy of the crowd made the night unforgettable. A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and made the afterparty an absolute blast.

As the festival wrapped up, we left feeling inspired and grateful. Punk Rock Holiday reminded us of why we love this scene—the music, the community, and the freedom to be ourselves.

Stay rebellious, stay inspired, and keep the punk spirit alive—until next time, Sockers!
