From October 1 to 4 we set up our booth at Aftershock 2026 in Discovery Park, Sacramento. Four days of rock and metal, a metal karaoke stage made out of a wooden pallet, epic sunsets and a pair of festival exclusive socks we called AFTERSOCK. Here's everything that went down.

What is Aftershock?
Aftershock is one of the biggest rock and metal festivals on the West Coast, organized by Danny Wimmer Presents (DWP) in Sacramento, California. It takes place in Discovery Park, and that makes a real difference: big old trees all around, which means there is at least some shade when the sun hits hard. Add four days of heavy music and a crowd that lives for it, and the experience was simply incredible.

AFTERSOCK: exclusive socks for Socktober in Socktown
Sacramento is Sactown. For us, it was Socktown. And since it was October, it was also Socktober, so the timing was perfect to drop our exclusive Aftershock collab socks. We called them AFTERSOCK: black with yellow stripes and a skull and crossbones, made only for the festival.

Everybody was excited about the socks, and we loved spotting them all over the park, with boots, sneakers and every kind of festival outfit.

Metal karaoke at the booth
This year we brought something new: a metal karaoke right in front of the booth. A microphone, a speaker, a wooden pallet as a stage and anyone brave enough to step up. People came by all weekend to sing their favorite songs, and the crowd went wild every single time.

The best performances of the weekend? Hands down, the fans who came to sing Creed and Panic! at the Disco. Total legends.

The best shows of the weekend
The karaoke was fun, but the main stages were on another level. Our favorite sets of the weekend were My Chemical Romance, Pierce the Veil, The Story So Far and AFI. Fire, lights, thousands of people singing along. Those are the moments that remind us why we do this.
New friends and familiar faces
One of the best things about festivals is meeting our people face to face. At Aftershock we met people who had just discovered us and fell in love with the socks on the spot, and people who already knew us from other festivals and came back to say hi. Seeing familiar faces in the crowd never gets old.

Surviving the heat (and those sunsets)
It was hot. Really hot, all week long. Our team survived the Sacramento heat with lots of water, a bit of shade and a lot of good vibes. The reward came every evening: the sunsets over Discovery Park were unreal.

Behind the booth, the team lived together all week like it was a summer vacation or summer camp: early mornings, long days, late nights and a lot of laughs. That's the kind of week you remember.
The best neighbors
We were lucky with our neighbors too. Big shout out to the Mortus Viventi crew next door, always in a good mood and always down to share the vibe.

A little spoiler...
If you stopped by the booth, maybe you heard our team dropping a few spoilers. We're working on a collab with one of the bands that played the festival, and it's coming very soon. We can't say much yet, but let's just say the initials are M, C and R. Stay tuned.
Thank you, DWP
A huge thank you to the whole Danny Wimmer Presents team for the opportunity, and to everyone who came by the booth, sang at the karaoke or took home a pair of AFTERSOCK. See you at the next one.
