This last March, American Socks landed at RUMBLExJAG 2025, the festival shaking the foundations of punk and rock at the Aichi Sky Expo in Tokoname. And we didn’t come empty-handed: we brought an exclusive collab that lit the place up.

Inspired by the festival’s bold lightning logo, we designed a pair of red socks that captured their rebellious energy. Available only at our booth, they quickly became the must-have accessory of the weekend.

The lineup brought serious voltage to the stage, with performances from Crossfaith, 10-FEET, BRAHMAN, Ken Yokoyama, Paledusk, and many more. Each band delivered raw power and unique energy, creating a weekend to remember.

Our booth was more than just a place to shop, it became a hangout spot for fans of rock and alternative fashion. Beyond the exclusive collab, sockers had the chance to explore more of what American Socks is all about and take home a piece of the brand.

We couldn’t have asked for a warmer welcome. The passion and excitement from the crowd blew us away. Japan, we’ll be back.

Japan continues to surprise us. this time with a rock festival on the beach. This year, American Socks packed up and flew halfway across the world to join Triangle Festival 2025 in Fukuoka. One of the most exciting events in Japan’s rock, metal, and punk scene, Triangle stands out not just for its lineup, but for its setting: sun, sea, and mosh pits in the sand.

Held from April 26th to 29th at Jigyohama Beach in the Fukuoka Seaside Momochi Park, the festival offered a unique scene where live rock music meets the ocean breeze. It’s not every day you get to enjoy both things at the same time.

The lineup was intense, featuring acts like 10-FEET, HEY-SMITH, THE ORAL CIGARETTES, BRAHMAN, ROTTENGRAFFTY, SiM, coldrain, BLUE ENCOUNT, SHANK, and more. The energy didn’t dip for a second: 3 days full of music, sweat, and crowd surfers under the sun. Fukuoka stole a piece of our heart. There’s nothing quite like a weekend of loud music and sandy feet.

We knew an event like this called for something special, so we released an exclusive collaboration with Triangle Festival: a limited-edition pair of socks, which we sold out in record time.

Our team was in full festival mode between gigs, sand, and highly questionable hydration levels, we handed out stickers like there was no tomorrow and made sure everyone knew: socks carried the spirit of the festival. You come here to sweat, jump, and lose your voice, always in style.

We’re beyond excited to drop an exclusive collab with Petit Brabancon, the Japanese supergroup that’s shaking up the alternative metal scene.

Petit Brabancon might be a new name to some, but their lineup is straight-up legendary. We’re talking Kyo from DIR EN GREY, Yukihiro from L’Arc-en-Ciel, Miya from MUCC, Antz from Tokyo Shoegazer, and Hirofumi Takamatsu from The Novembers. These guys know a thing or two about heavy riffs, raw emotion, and pushing boundaries. Their sound is a wild mix of heavy metal, hardcore punk, nu metal: super intense, experimental, and 100% fire.

To celebrate their upcoming “CROSS COUNTER -02-” tour, we’ve teamed up to create something special: the “Mad Dog” socks. This limited edition design captures the wild energy of Petit Brabancon, made for fans who want to wear that same attitude from head to toe. But here’s the catch... you’ll only find these socks in two places: our store in Koenji, Tokyo, and at the tour concerts. So if you’re in Japan this September, you know what to do.

For us, they’re part of our story. So yeah, teaming up for a collab was bound to happen: two projects with the same energy doing something cool together.

Ankor is that perfect mix: they bring heavy riffs, catchy hooks, metalcore vibes with EDM touches, but also a fun, laid-back attitude that makes every live show feel like a party. They can hit you with a breakdown and two minutes later have you singing at the top of your lungs. That balance is exactly what we wanted to capture in this collab.

If you’ve ever seen them live, you know what we’re talking about. Pure energy. Pure attitude. No filters. They’ve been doing their thing since 2003, blasting their punk rock anthems all over Europe and mixing old school vibes with a fresh kick in the teeth. It’s loud, it’s fun, and it hits hard.

One of their most iconic songs is “Radio Rebelde”. A track that’s not just catchy, but a full-on shoutout to doing things your own way. To fighting, loving, resisting or whatever it is that keeps your soul burning. That song was the spark for this collab.

So we got to work. The idea was simple: turn that rebel energy into socks. Socks that stand out. That feel alive. That scream “I’m here and I don’t care what you think.” The result: a flaming radio design, straight from the heart of Radio Rebelde. It’s loud, it’s bold, and yeah... it totally rocks.These socks will only be around during The Baboon Show’s summer festival tour. After that, they’re gone. So if you’re a fan, or you just love wearing stuff that means something, you know what to do.

For us, this collab is more than merch. It’s about celebrating the connection we’ve built over the years in festivals, backstage, and on the road. Same passion, same mindset.

Nous revenons tout juste d'une tournée au Japon avec KNOSIS et, franchement… nous sommes toujours aussi enthousiastes. Ce voyage n'était pas qu'une simple collaboration : c'est devenu l'une des expériences les plus inoubliables que nous ayons jamais vécues.

Dès le premier jour, on a eu l'impression qu'American Socks faisait partie du groupe. On s'est entassés dans le van, on a partagé des sushis, on a bu du saké comme les locaux, on s'est marrés comme des fous sur la route et on a réussi à arriver à chaque concert en un seul morceau. Les gars de KNOSIS ? Des vrais. Ryo surtout, une bête sur scène et le mec le plus cool en dehors. Ils nous ont accueillis comme des membres de la famille, et c'est exactement ce qu'on a ressenti.

Chaque concert était un véritable chaos. La scène metal japonaise ? À un autre niveau. Les mosh pits étaient brutaux, les gens volaient dans les airs, hurlaient chaque parole, la sueur ruisselait sur les murs, c'était magnifique. Le genre d'énergie qui vous rappelle pourquoi vous êtes tombé amoureux de la musique live.

Nous avons lancé une collaboration de chaussettes en édition limitée inspirée du logo et du style du groupe, et elles se sont vendues plus vite qu'on ne l'aurait imaginé. Voir les gens les porter dans la fosse, sauter des barrières, couverts de sueur, chaussés d'American Socks… c'était incroyable.

Nous étions là pour tout, installant notre stand à chaque concert, échangeant avec les fans, prenant des photos, savourant l'instant présent. Et oui, nous avons tout capturé : le bruit, les sourires, le chaos, l'amour.

Cette collaboration est très importante pour nous. Non seulement parce qu'elle a été un succès, mais aussi parce qu'elle est née d'une véritable connexion. KNOSIS, tu as une place dans nos cœurs. Nous sommes fiers d'avoir réalisé cela ensemble et avons hâte de voir la suite.

On s'est donc associés à un ami artiste qui partage notre passion pour le rock et on a créé des chaussettes inspirées de l'œuvre « The Darkest Place I've Ever Been » . Sombres, puissantes et carrément géniales.

We just got back from touring Japan with KNOSIS and honestly… we’re still buzzing. This trip wasn’t just a product collab: it turned into one of the most unforgettable experiences we’ve ever had.

From day one, it felt like American Socks was part of the band. We packed into the van, shared way too much sushi, drank sake like locals, laughed our asses off on the road, and somehow made it to every show in one piece. The KNOSIS guys? Real ones. Ryo especially, an absolute beast on stage and the chillest human off it. They welcomed us like family, and that’s exactly how it felt.

Every show was chaos. The Japanese metal scene? On another level. The mosh pits were brutal, people flying through the air, screaming every lyric, sweat dripping off the walls, it was beautiful. The kind of energy that makes you remember why you fell in love with live music in the first place.

We dropped a limited-edition sock collab inspired by the band’s logo and style, and it sold out faster than we could’ve imagined. Seeing people wear them in the pit, jumping off barriers, covered in sweat, wearing American Socks… unreal.

We were there for all of it, setting up our stand at every show, hanging with fans, taking photos, living in the moment. And yeah, we captured everything: the noise, the smiles, the chaos, the love.

We’re super excited to finally share our latest collab: a limited edition pair of socks designed together with Mogwai, an iconic post-rock band!

If you don’t know them already (where have you been?), Mogwai is a Scottish band formed in 1995 in Glasgow. They’ve been making powerful and mind-blowing instrumental music for decades and now we’ve joined forces to turn that vibe into something you can wear.

This isn’t just merch. It’s a tribute to a band that’s inspired us for years, and we’ve put a lot of love into creating something special for their fans and for everyone who loves music with feeling.

The event took place at Siyu, a new bar-restaurant on Gran Via that had just opened its doors. They didn’t just give us the space, they also offered a delicious brunch!

The moment we announced the event, tickets flew. Literally sold out in no time. By the time we started, there was already a line of people waiting and excited to get involved.

The idea was simple: each person would customize their own pair of white American Socks using tie-dye techniques, with guidance from Les Noies del Medi (a rad surf and skate community for women) and support from Tintes Iberia. Everything was done 100% by hand, with no shortcuts, no pre-made samples — just people creating from scratch, having fun, and getting a little messy in the best way possible.

Throughout the afterrnoon, the energy was amazing. Music was playing, people were chatting and laughing, socks were soaking in vibrant colors, and the whole space felt alive. There was no pressure to "do it right", just a chance to hang out, try something new, and leave with something you made yourself.

Now the socks are dry, and many of the participants have already picked up their finished pairs and are ready to wear and show them off. Every set came out different, but all of them carry a bit of that day’s energy.It was so amazing we’re already thinking of doing it again. This is what went down during 24h in Barcelona!

On February 28th, the American Socks crew turned the store into the place to be. Picture this: free beer, free Monster, great music, and a crowd of awesome people all in one spot. You could drop by, grab a drink, vibe to the tunes, and meet new faces—no pressure, just pure energy.

Because we’re all about capturing real, unfiltered moments, we left a box of analog cameras out for anyone to grab and start shooting. The result? A mix of spontaneous shots and big smiles.

When the store was packed and the vibes were through the roof, we knew it was time for the big reveal: the reason behind the event’s name. We teamed up with some of the coolest skaters in Barcelona to shoot a video that captured the city’s raw energy—fearless tricks, unique styles, and full-on attitude. Basically, a love letter to BCN on four wheels.

But wait, that wasn't all! Right after the big reveal, we rolled right into the raffle. A ticket dispenser at the entrance made sure everyone could grab one and join the giveaway. Winners were picked live and walked away with a customized box, socks, and tees. Total steal!

Good company and amazing vibes in every corner of the store. Now that’s how you throw an event!

Shops 1st Try in Austria was an event we just couldn’t miss. It’s not your typical trade show—it’s a gathering where the best retailers and brands come together to showcase what’s new and exciting in the world of snowboarding and streetwear. Naturally, we were ready to bring our best to the table.

Set in the insanely beautiful Alpbach, the event was all about connecting, testing gear, and just soaking in the energy of the snowboard and streetwear scene. It wasn’t just about showing off our socks (though, yeah, we did that too); we also brought along Kiddo, our iconic inflatable skater mascot, to keep the vibes fun and energetic. it was about hanging out with our community and seeing how American Socks fits into their adventures. We’re not just a brand; we’re part of a lifestyle.

Our booth? Straight-up fire. We even had some exclusive socks made specially for the event, featuring a unique design that celebrated the spirit of Shops 1st Try.
